Balik-Tao is a hidden-role card game of Filipino folklore for 4 to 6 players. You play a child rebuilding your manananggal parents, half by half, before the Night runs out, while one player at the table is secretly the Manananggal. Eight effect cards steal, swap, bind, and guard. Each reshuffle, the table may vote someone out. The free browser demo plays now against computer players, about 15 minutes a game, mouse or touch. It is eerie rather than gory: no blood, no jump scares, ages 14+. Most of the art and the music are AI-assisted. We plan to bring in human artists once funded. The design and writing are human.
