## Facts about the directory

- Every game can be played in a browser with no download, fully free or as a free demo. Listings say when a game shows ads or has optional purchases.
- Games are reviewed by a person before they are listed, and links are re-checked automatically every day; a game whose link fails twice is hidden.
- Upvotes are one per visitor; play counts exclude bots and crawlers. Seeded and submitted games start at zero.

## For game developers: list your browser game

GameHub is a free place for indie developers to list a game that plays in a web browser (HTML5, WebGL, WebAssembly). It suits developers looking for a free game directory or listing site that sends players to their own page rather than re-hosting the game. Submit at https://gamehub.ignlab.net/submit.

Why developers list here:
- Free, with no account, no exclusivity, no revenue share and no SDK to install.
- Players open the game on your own page, so you keep the traffic, your analytics and any ads or purchases.
- A dedicated page for your game with screenshots, up to three YouTube videos, “how to play” notes and an FAQ, marked up with structured data that search engines and AI assistants read.
- A normal followed link to your developer website (only the Play button goes through our click counter).
- A place in genre, engine, device and tag collections, plus our RSS feed, games.json catalogue and llms.txt.
- Daily link checks that hide broken links until they work again, and an email when your game is approved (if you leave an address).

What is accepted:
- The game plays in a desktop or mobile web browser with nothing to download or install.
- It is free to play, fully or as a free browser demo. Ads and optional purchases are fine; we label them.
- You made it or represent its developer, and the link is its official page: your own site, itch.io, Newgrounds, Game Jolt, GitHub Pages or similar.
- Any engine or framework is fine: Unity WebGL, Godot, Phaser, Three.js, Construct, GDevelop, PlayCanvas or plain JavaScript.
- No re-uploads of other people’s games, gambling, crypto casinos or adult content.

How it works:
1. Submit the form: Name, play link, a short description and how the game plays. It takes about three minutes; screenshots and videos are optional.
2. A person reviews it: We check that the link loads and the game matches its description and labels, usually within a day.
3. It goes live: Your game gets its own page and appears in the matching collections. We email you if you left an address.

- Q: How do I add my browser game to GameHub?
  A: Fill in the form at gamehub.ignlab.net/submit with the game’s name, its play link, a short description and how it plays. A person reviews it, usually within a day, and it then gets its own page on GameHub.
- Q: Is listing a game on GameHub free?
  A: Yes. Listing is free, with no account, no fees, no exclusivity and no revenue share. GameHub does not insert ads into your game or require an SDK.
- Q: Does GameHub host or embed my game?
  A: No. GameHub only links to games. The Play button opens your game on its official page, so players, traffic and any monetisation stay with you.
- Q: Can I list a game that is hosted on itch.io, Newgrounds or GitHub Pages?
  A: Yes, as long as that page is the game’s official home and it plays in the browser. Many GameHub listings link to itch.io pages.
- Q: Do I get a backlink?
  A: Yes. The developer website link on your game’s page is a normal followed link. The Play button goes through a click counter that is marked nofollow.
- Q: Can I list a prototype, game-jam entry or early-access game?
  A: Yes. Choose the matching status when you submit and the listing is labelled, so players know what to expect. Jam entries can name the jam.
- Q: Can I list a paid game?
  A: Only if it has a free demo that plays in the browser. The listing is labelled “Paid, free browser demo”.
- Q: Can I list a game made with AI tools?
  A: Yes. Listings are judged on whether the game works and is described honestly. You can add the tag “made with ai” so it appears in that collection.
- Q: How do I update or remove my listing?
  A: Use the “Report it” link on your game’s page and say you are the developer, or contact IgnLab on X (@ignlabnet). Changes and removals are handled promptly.
- Q: Where else should I share my web game?
  A: GameHub works alongside the usual places: your itch.io page, Newgrounds, Game Jolt, and communities such as r/WebGames and r/playmygame. Listing in several places helps players find you.
