Shadow City is a free dark urban fantasy RPG you play in your browser, with nothing to download. Choose Light or Dark and become a mage, witch, vampire or werewolf in a living city where the two factions fight over the night. Combat is turn-based PvP with a layered "Nether" system that adds a hidden dimension to every duel. Travel across the city, furnish your own apartment, and watch out for the police: break the law and you can end up in jail. 16+, EU servers, live since 12 September 2026.
How to play
Shadow City runs in a desktop or laptop browser at shadowcity.app, with nothing to install. It supports keyboard and mouse controls. You can play with other people (online multiplayer).
