ESORUH is a text MMORPG you play in the browser (English, Korean or Japanese UI). You hunt through areas from the grasslands to a deep cave, face other players in the arena, and join or found a nation that builds towns and fights rival nations over territory and treasury. Characters master classes one by one (32 in total) and can pass their line on to the next generation.
How it plays: fights are turn-based text battles with a short cooldown. Auto-hunt can run while you browse, and from level 5 free "cloud hunting" keeps hunting on the server for up to 8 hours a day after you close the tab.
Before you start:
- You need an account: ID, password and an account name (14+). No email or social login.
- Free to start, with a cash shop. Some paid items are probability-based (cash strengthening, ascension, gear-option rolls, premium gear packs); the odds are published at https://aun.kr/odds. The Android app also has ads.
- Some characters are run by AI; the game says so at https://aun.kr/ai but does not mark which ones.
- Small, new and patched almost daily; the community is mostly Korean for now.
