Pixel Metropolis is a 2D isometric historical city builder in which one settlement, on a map based on Paris, develops across the ages on a single persistent map. Buildings, resources, technologies and population needs change with each era, but the streets you laid out early stay visible as the city grows. The first ages, from the Paleolithic onward, are playable in the browser now.
How to play
Pixel Metropolis runs in a desktop or laptop browser at pixel-metropolis.com, with nothing to install. It supports keyboard and mouse controls. It is a single-player game. A typical session lasts 30+ minutes.
GameHub is a free directory of indie games you play in the browser, on the developer’s own site. We never host or re-upload games: every “Play” button sends you to the game’s official page. Links are checked daily, and developers can add their games for free.
